Dr. Artandi is a professor of Medicine and Biochemistry at Stanford University. Steven brings a focus on cancer and regenerative medicine. Steven became an AAAS Fellow in 2007, a member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation in 2008, a member of the American Association of Physicians in 2015, and won the NCI Outstanding investigator Award in 2015.
Steven received an Oncology Fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He did his residency at Massachusetts General. He received his MD and PhD at Columbia University and a BA in Chemistry from Princeton.
Dr. Haring-Smith is a Managing Partner at Anzu Partners, where he focuses primarily on industrial technology investments. Prior to Anzu, Whitney was a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group where he worked for clients in the United States, the United Kingdom, China & Hong Kong, Nigeria, Angola, and Argentina.
Whitney earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees simultaneously from Yale University, magna cum laude, and received his doctorate from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar.
Mr. Michael is a Managing Partner at Anzu Partners, and developed the firm’s focus on fostering growth in companies developing breakthrough industrial technologies. Prior to his work at Anzu, Mr. Michael spent 24 years at The Boston Consulting Group, where he was a Senior Partner and served in numerous leadership roles. He founded the firm’s Beijing office and led the firm’s Greater China practice, and then subsequently established the firm’s globalisation practice. David has experience in technology, telecommunications, and medical technology. David is on the boards of Nuburu (industrial lasers), Terapore (nanofiltration for bioprocess) and Pivotal Systems (semiconductor capital equipment), among other companies.
David has been a member of the World Economic Forum and the U.S. China Business Council. He is on the International Advisory Board of UC San Diego’s School of Global Policy and Strategy. He has earnedan MBA from Stanford University and a BA in Economics from Harvard University.
Mr. Nicol is Chairman Emeritus, Board of Visitors at Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and spent the majority of his career in a range of senior positions including Senior Partner and Managing Director withThe Boston Consulting Group. Ron brings ~30 years of experience in management consulting. He has worked on major transformations with Fortune 50 companies and brings a focus in telecommunications, strategy, and M&A. Ron was a Top 25 Consultant in 2006.
Ron is a former US naval officer teaching Nuclear Engineering. He has received an MBA from Duke University and a BS in Physics from the US Naval Academy.
Mr. Seldin is a Managing Partner at Anzu Partners. David has founded, purchased, developed, financed and sold businesses; founded, managed and sold sports teams; built stadiums; founded and advised charitable foundations; directed complex litigation; purchased and sold buildings and land parcels; and served extensively on boards of directors. David has significant early-stage and start-up experience, both as a principal and as an investor.
David began his career at The Boston Consulting Group, as a Consultant and then a Manager in the Chicago office. David received a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, summa cum laude, and an MBA from the University of Chicago. David is a Trustee of Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo.
Mr. Zediker is the CEO of Nuburu, a Denver-based laser company and the head of the Scientific Advisory Board at Foro Energy. He is also the former CEO, President, and Founder of Nuvonyx. Mark has over 200 publications and over 20 patents. He is the Chair of the high power section of the Photonics West Conference and a member of the Physics Advisory Board at the University of Illinois.
Mark received a M.S. in Nuclear Engineering and a B.S. in Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois.
